Tilt (check us out here) is looking for a Director of Sales to join our team and help us scale our business by leading and developing our Account Executive team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies. This position is a full-time role reporting to the VP of Sales. We want you to be successful here at Tilt! Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the execution of sales strategies set by senior leadership to achieve revenue goals.
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Account Executives through regular 1:1s, call reviews, methodology coaching, objection handling, and deal support.
  • Monitoring performance by analyzing key sales metrics such as quota attainment, conversion rates, time to close, and pipeline coverage.
  • Creating and delivering sales training programs that improve techniques and overall team performance.
  • Supporting customer escalations in partnership with the Head of Partnerships and cross-functional teams when necessary.
  • Collaborating with marketing to ensure alignment and sharing field insights with product to inform roadmap decisions and positioning.
  • Owning forecasting and pipeline reporting, offering visibility to the VP of Sales and broader leadership team on current deal status and future outlook.
  • Leveraging AI to optimize sales processes to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across the team.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and monitoring competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Ensuring the sales team consistently meets or exceeds assigned quotas and performance targets.

You’re a great fit if 

  • You bring a proven track record of building and leading successful SaaS sales teams.
  • You’ve managed quota-carrying reps and know how to guide them to consistent success.
  • Your experience includes building scalable sales processes and balancing strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
  • You have high levels of empathy and can connect deeply with Tilt’s mission
  • You are comfortable working in ambiguous environments and know that we need your help to figure things out 
  • You are comfortable using a lot of systems at once, and can learn software quickly
  • You are fearlessly flexible and curious; aka you thrive in an environment where we don't have all the answers but are willing to help us figure them out 
  • You have experience working with a startup and/or with a B2B SaaS business

Total Compensation 

The projected annual salary range is $130,000-$140,000USD + commission and stock options (ISOs), because we believe everyone should have some stake in our business.
